A converted industrial loft that preserves original architectural elements while introducing contemporary design. High ceilings, exposed brick, and large windows create a spacious and character-filled home.
This project involved the conversion of a former industrial space into a residential loft. The client, an art collector with an appreciation for industrial aesthetics, wanted to preserve the character of the original space while creating a comfortable and functional home.
The design maintains and highlights original architectural elements, including exposed brick walls, concrete columns, and large factory windows. These features are complemented by contemporary interventions that add comfort and functionality without compromising the loft's authentic character. The open floor plan is zoned into distinct areas for living, dining, sleeping, and working, with custom furniture pieces that address the unique spatial challenges of the loft. A curated lighting scheme enhances both the architecture and the client's art collection, creating different moods throughout the day and night.
