About This Project
This urban residence was designed for a family of four who wanted a contemporary home that would provide privacy in a dense urban setting while maintaining a connection to nature. The architecture features clean lines and a thoughtful arrangement of volumes that create interesting spatial experiences throughout the home.
Sustainability was a key consideration, with high-performance insulation, energy-efficient systems, and locally sourced materials used throughout. Large windows and skylights bring abundant natural light into the interior spaces, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day. The landscape design includes native plants and a small urban garden that provides both beauty and functionality.
